Founded in 1976 as the Squantum Sailors and later renamed the Squantum Strom in 1986, the Storm represents the peninsula of Squantum as well as a significant protion of North Quincy.

 

In 2014 the team consisted of about 150 football players and cheerleaders.  This included Flag, Freshman, JV and Varsity football, as well as Freshman, JV and Varsity Cheerleading.

 

The Squantum Strom have a proud tradition and annually compete at a high level.  Our Varisty football team has been to the leaugue championship on four occaisions, winning three times, including the first overtime championship game in league history.  The varsity football team took the championship once again in 2014! 

Our Cheerleading squads compete at a high level both within the leaugue and regionally, with our Varsity squad taking 1st place in regionals in 2012 and all three squads taking first place in league competion in 2013.  All sqauds were competitive again in 2014, with Freshman and JV taking first place and Varsiy placing second.
